How to read these numbers
Tokens
Pieces of text a model reads and writes, about three-quarters of a word each. They measure the amount of work, and say nothing about how many people use a model.
Open weights
Anyone can download the model and run it on their own computers.
Closed
Only the maker runs the model; you use it through a paid service.
Free tier
OpenRouter also offers a free, limited version of the model.
Hugging Face likes
Interest from people who download and run models themselves. Only open models have them.
Radar mentions
Items the radar collected this week that name the model.
HN comments
Hacker News comments this week that write the model’s full name exactly, so other spellings are not counted.
